Sandy City calls for the outdoor enthusiast in you to break free and unbridled! This area offers stunning tree-covered hiking and biking trails, cross-country sport, and some of the best skiing adventures in the United States. Little Cottonwood Canyon is home to both Snowbird and Alta Ski Resort. Big Cottonwood Canyon is home to Solitude and Brighton Ski Resort.
There are many off-season events and classes held at the resorts, including yoga classes and workshops, guided hikes and tours, and there are several fine dining options with awe-inspiring 360 mountain and valley views. Residents living in the area surrounding Wasatch Boulevard have immediate access to hiking trails outside of the canyons. Favorites include Bell Canyon Reservoir Trail, and Dimple Dell Regional Park, for horseback riding. As if this were not enough to delight your senses, Sandy has two world-class country clubs - Willow Creek Country Club offering an 18-hole course, and Hidden Valley Country Club offering a 27- hole course.
But recreation is not all there is to offer. During the summer months, enjoy music by local artists on the patio of Albion Grill. This is a fun event paired with the Wildflower Festival in July. Oktoberfest is held from August through October. This seasonal event brings the community together for the best in German food and music.

Sandy City offers easy access to several local dining options. The Cliff Restaurant is loved for its posh city design and its patio where patrons socialize over margaritas while enjoying broad sweeping valley and mountain views.
