COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS

Everything Recreation – Ski, Hike, Bike!

Housing

Cottonwood Heights is well loved for its proximity to canyon recreation, offering the best hiking, biking, skiing, and cross-country sports. Established neighborhoods such as Prospector, located at the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon, boast luxury homes with stunning valley and mountain views. This area also offers newer contemporary-style townhomes and condominiums. Top of The World Community, located on the hillside, offers mid-sized existing single-family homes.

Cottonwood Community, located within the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon offers tucked in neighborhoods of existing luxury homes on private wooded lots. At the base of Little Cottonwood Canyon lies Giverny Community, a community of beautifully designed new-construction homes with broad sweeping mountain views and smaller lot sizes, averaging .09 - .18 acres. This is an HOA community with a pool and clubhouse. Lower Cottonwood Heights offers smaller homes built largely from the 1950’ – 1970’s. Cottonwood Heights real estate will not disappoint! The drive time to downtown Salt Lake is 15 minutes. The drive time to Park City is 30 minutes.

COMMUNITY

Community & Lifestyle

Cottonwood Heights is beloved by outdoor enthusiasts, but recreation is not all this beautiful city has to offer. During the summer months, enjoy music by local bands on the patio of Albion Grill, located in Little Cottonwood Canyon. This is a fun event paired with the Wildflower Festival in July. Oktoberfest is held from August through October. This seasonal festival brings the community together for the best in German food and music. Little Cottonwood Canyon is home to Snowbird Ski Resort. In the off-winter months, visitors enjoy yoga classes and workshops, guided hikes and tours, and an array of fine dining options with awe-inspiring 360 mountain and valley views.

Big Cottonwood Canyon is home to Silver Fork Lodge. This is a favorite spot after a morning hike to enjoy brunch on the patio amongst soaring pines and dancing hummingbirds. Old Mill Golf Course is located near the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon. This course offers 18 holes under ethereal sunrises and sunsets.
