​Herriman City lies in the southwest corner of Salt Lake County and is well loved for its west mountain views and family-friendly environment. Homes in this area sprung up from the year 2000 and growth continues in large numbers today. 

Herriman has two distinct communities. The foothills of Herriman offer a suburban feel of larger single-family homes, quiet neighborhoods, small parks, and beautiful views. Lot sizes average one-fourth to one-third of an acre for homes built prior to 2008. Homes built after 2013 offer smaller lot sizes of .09 - .22 acres.

For those who prefer urban living, the center of Herriman is composed of townhomes, condominiums, and single-family homes with smaller lot sizes averaging .05 -.14 acres. Herriman real estate will not disappoint! The drive time to downtown Salt Lake is 25 - 30 minutes and can be accessed by Mountain View Corridor or Bangerter Highway.

​Herriman provides a quiet suburban lifestyle while offering easy access to major conveniences, dining, and entertainment options in the urban center. J.L Sorenson Rec Center (the largest rec- center in the state) offers a pool, a weight room, cardio room, track, and a rock-climbing wall. The library is located directly next door. The District Center, located in South Jordan, offers additional shopping and dining options, Megaplex Movie Theater, Target, and a multitude of grocery store options including, Harmons, Sprouts, and Trader Joes. Herriman also offers a beach reservoir. The community gathers here for picnicking, water sports and socializing.
